I rarely write in detail about the places we stay at because a lot of the time they are just that--places to stay. But this gem in Nova Scotia deserves a special mentioning. The location was everything!
The view was incredible.
And no, it wasn't fancy at all! It had a queen bed in one bedroom and a bunkbed in the kids' room.
But it had so much character and authenticity that it became a very memorable place for us.
It was just cool to be out there, by the water, in a totally private setting. This panoramic window to look out on the water was amazing!
And the kids enjoyed all the rowing references.
One evening we relaxed after dinner, made fire and roasted s'mores. It was heaven.
And Katya took a bunch of cheesy and sweet pictures of me and Robert.
Well, and Katya too:)
And to top it off, we saw a FOX! So close to us, it was crazy:)
I don't ever do this, but I will post the link on my blog just because, in case someone ever needs it or if we ever go back there.
