I was writing this post. I stepped away for about 10 minutes. When I came back, I realized my post had some "additions", as turned out later--by Katya. I decided to leave it as it is.
Piano recital is a wonderful opportunity for kids to show off in front of EVERYONE

Katya performed two pieces: solo piece “Promenade"....
And a medley duet with her friend Ashley...
She did a fantastic job:)!
Alex has been taking lessons for about three months prior to the performance. He wanted to perform a piece as well—a duet with me, called “Graduation Party”. Because of our camcorder malfunction, we didn’t manage to record the actual performance. But this is the actual picture.
