Our Valentine’s Day festivities started a couple of days earlier this Febuary! Do you recognize who this is??? Do you?? Yep! It’s Celine Dion!
Last summer I bought two tickets to her concert in Raleigh at the PNC arena. The concert was happening on a Tuesday night (Feb 11) and I was trying to decide for months who would be the person who would go to the concert with me (basically, who would care most). At the end, Robert won-hahaha. I figured he knew most of the songs and actually wanted to go on a date with me, so that’s who I decided to bring with me. We had awesome seats with a great view! And the concert was absolutely amazing! Blew my mind:) Live concert is a true proof of how talented a person is. Celine Dion is fantastic! And she is actually funny!
On Valentine’s Day, Friday, Katya woke up to see a our door heart attacked by the young men in our ward. Always a pleasant surprise! 😆 But by Valentine’s Day there was only one boy Katya cared about (hahaha).
Robert had the whole Friday off so we had a wonderful lunch date at Apex Downtown at The Provincial. It was a chilly sunny day by North Carolina standards.
No, I am not wearing red celebrating Valentine’s Day....oops...I am just wearing a sweater that makes me feel happy because it feels like sunshine:). We had a very memorable time, talking, laughing, remembering our past and planning our future--just like a good date should be.
In the evening we had a bonus celebration because we were invited to couples Bunco night at the Kinneys! It’s their annual event and we got lucky to be part of it two years in a row. It’s always super duper fun and great to see so many friends! Katya was babysitting for one of the couples that was at Bunco but still managed to get a quick date with Cameron after the parents came home.
All in all, we had a fantastic day! 💖
