Oh yes, he did!:)
Alex chose to dress up as Liesl from "The Book Thief" for the Character Day at school.
He brought trousers with him just in case the skirt was uncomfortable during the breaks (they have three school breaks to run around during the day). Our old faithful "Justin Bieber" wig worked to make "girly" hair and Katya added a final touch of the flower clip.
Robert and I couldn't stop laughing (mostly inside) and hoped he'd have a great day at school.
And he did! Apparently at least two more boys in Year 6 (that's his grade, 5th grade) came to school dressed up as girls or maybe they were characters from the British book "The Boy In The Dress";)
