Celebrity Cruise: Day 2 St. Kitt's

This was our second time visiting St. Kitts! So we decided to mix it up a bit and make it a different experience form last time when we were here in 2019.

In the morning, we walked from port to the St. Kitts Tennis Association courts so Mark could hit with a local coach, Watkins.

It was a fun experience, although Mark felt he didn't play well. The courts were in pretty bad shape which tells you how difficult it is to find good quality training facilities in some countries.

I snapped this picture because it was almost comical to have a tree growing right next to the tennis courts.

This is Watkins and Mark. Mark was grateful for the opportunity, and, of course, we paid him an hourly rate too.

This is us on a relaxing hot stroll through the city. It was actually interesting to see some of the local living.

Side note...this is what our room's door looked like--easier to recognize by supporting Ukraine.

So from the Warner Tennis Complex, we walked back to the ship, then got changed into our beach gear and caught a taxi to the beach. I can't even remember the name of it, but I think it was South Friars beach. The sand was not super fine as it's a volcano island. They had no good places to sit really and we had to walk really far from wherever we were dropped off to where we could set up a beach spot.

We had some snacks-haha,

Exciting stuff...I think there were some pokies in the water and so that really discouraged the boys from going into the ocean and play.

We did get in the water by the touristy restaurant, we actually ate there on our previous trip. The water was okay over there with no poky things.

Overall, St. Kitt's is probably not my favorite spot, and after two times, I probably will not want to take another Caribbean cruise that stops there. But it was still fun this time!

To Be Continued...
