Katya Turns 19!!!!

Our oldest kid turned nineteen!!! How is this even possible! And what is crazy is that I got married at 19 and two days. Who does that? 

Happy birthday, Katrusia!!!

This was another midweek birthday so it was tricky to fit in everything we wanted to do together. But Katya did get her gifts (she mostly wanted money anyway). 

And my mom was feeling a bit better so was able to join us for some family fun. She was leaving for Ukraine in a couple of days after this. 

Katya decided we all must go to Five Guys. And so that's what we did! 

We then dropped off the boys at their swim practice as Alex couldn't miss it being a coach. 

But Katya and I found a spot for a few pictures to take. 

Can you tell she is enjoying all of them? If I pose like that....I still wouldn't look anything like she does-hahaha. 

Yes, she secretly loves me:)

When I was little my mom used to be 5' 4'' (164 cm), and I used to be 5' 7'' (169 cm)...not anymore. Katya is the one who is 5' 7'' and a half.

We are so proud of what Katya has accomplished in her 19 years but that's not why we love her! She is fun and spunky, friendly and loyal, full of love and light! But this doesn't even start to describe her. She is a gem, that's for sure!
