We have been slowly getting settled into our new lives here. One of the nicest but biggest adjustments has been the weather. This long and warm fall season is the best! Trees didn't start turning yellow till at least early November and the temperatures stayed in the 70s for a couple of months. We loved it!
Sometime in October we went camping at nearby Jordan Lake. It was a one night deal but we had two great families to hang out with so it was super fun!! The ground was...hard...not grassy like we are used to, so next time we'll have to find a more cushiony place.
Our neighborhood has quite mature trees which means a ton of leaves. The awesome thing is that beginning with November, an awesome efficient leaf collector truck comes around once a month or so and sucks in all the leaves that we leave (haha..get it?) by the curb.
And this is me on one of the super sunny warm days in October or November watching Katya's soccer game in the afternoon. I almost got sunburnt then too.
Looking forward to spring already as people say spring here is fabulous!!
Lyana.
