Happy Sunday everyone! It’s December already! Has it started snowing yet where you are? We had one good snowstorm before Thanksgiving, but then everything melted within 3 days and we have nothing but a TON of rain and wind.
First of all, please tell me, is this illegal for me to post school pictures on this blog? Just wondering…
My friend, recently, told me that her mom, through out my friend’s school years, was collecting, school pictures and putting them in a nice album. She said that now her kids love just looking at their mom’s hilarious pictures. So, I went to the 100 yen store, bought THREE similar binders with clear sheets and started my collection. Katya’s already has five or six because of her preschool pictures. Alex has a couple, and Mark’s is sealed for now. Katya helped me by decorating the cardstock sheet on which I glued the pictures. Finally, I have something matching for all three of my kids…
How is it in your schools? Do you have to order prints before you see the proofs? Do you order school pictures? Or do you think they are outrageously expensive that you refuse to order them?
Growing up, we had pictures taken only in 3rd, 9th and 11th grade (graduating class). They were hideous, compared to these! That’s why I usually order the smallest package just to have some in their “growing up” frames.
Good night for now!

These are this year’s pictures:
Katya—3rd grade
This is much better than her 1st grade picture where she had decorated herself with some very interesting items (a flower on her head and a random pink sparkly scarf around her neck)….Although I absolutely love that one too!
Alex-1st grade
This is the first time that a photographer asked him to take off his glasses. I understand that whole glare thing and I think he looks very handsome, but he doesn’t really look like Alex I see every day:). And yes, I encourage wearing Ukrainian flag colors whenever possible-hahaha. Actually, Alex’s favorite color is yellow, so it works well.

No, there is no issue with posting school pictures on your blog :)
