Horns or No Horns?

So we came home from church on Sunday and I tried to take some pictures of the kids by the Christmas tree (didn’t work very well). While taking the pictures, I realized that I was wearing the same shirt as I did five years ago on this picture:

That one was taken in Maple Grove, Minnesota on December 12th, 2006.  It must have been a Sunday afternoon too.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a mantle or anything where we could put our stockings this year. Instead we have our famous HORNS!!! Maybe we should hang stockings from those horns..hmm…that’s an idea…(and yes, we know it looks that there are horns growing out of our heads).
Okay, this was December 11th, 2011 in Misawa Japan. Taken by Katya.

How many differences can you spot?
Oh, and what a coincidence—that picture on the wall was taken 10 years ago! We look..umm…a little bit different.
Now this is just for fun. I actually remember taking this picture of Robert. I wanted to show you our “purple” house in Minnesota. And of course the piano—we got it for our wedding anniversary that year from a lady who when she heard me sit down and try out the piano, decided that I simply must have that piano. And I agreed. That piano totally fit my needs—touch and sound were perfect!

I got a little sidetracked…this post is not about our piano. Nor is it about Robert’s hair.
So what do you think? Have we changed much? Should we even not worry about Christmas stockings this year?
And the final question is: "Should we keep the horns?”.

And why on earth would you put those horns away after Christmas??

  2. I think you are Robert look even better now than you did 5 years ago. I don't like the really young look. Maybe cause I don't look young anymore. I like the purple house too. Did you paint it or did it come that way?

  3. Okay, now you are going to think that I am saying you look old. Which I'm not. I'm just saying that I think you both look really good. There. :)
