Quick Fall Update:
Now that Alex is part of the Young Men's Organization in our church, he and Katya get to participate in the youth activities together. This is Miracle League activity where our youth went to play games with some special needs kids. They always love this activity!
Robert had disappeared for two or three days and didn't tell me what he was busy with sometimes in early September. I wasn't quite sure what to think. And then he showed up one day with our friend Bob and brought this beautiful table in. Robert made it himself. I still need to find a picture of the finished product.
Since fall is so long here, the weather is beautiful majority of the time. We went out to Lake Johnson Park just for a quick walk.
We also went to a wedding reception for one of Robert's assistants from Siler City. It was a Hispanic wedding so it was great to show a different kind of wedding to the kids!
My friend Natalia who I went to school with for many years came to Raleigh on her business trip. We were able to meet up and have her over for dinner with vareniki!
And then shopping with Alex to spend his gift card money, finally. He bought Hunger Games Dvd's after he had read the books five times. This is last picture of me and him where we are about the same height.
