Northumberland: Bamburgh Beach

On our second and final day in Northumberland, were a bit in a rush in the morning. We had to check out from our house and had a couple of hours before we had to be at Seahouses village for our boat excursion. We drove a few miles to Bamburgh again, this time parking near the castle. We knew paying the entrance fees to this prominent (but expensive) castle wouldn't be worth it if we only had an hour or so to see it. So instead we took a picture by the castle gate and then walked down the hill to the beautiful sandy beach.

Bamburgh Castle.

How often do we get to play on the beach with a castle in the background?:)

The clouds were threatening to spoil our beach outing, but they were gorgeous.

We enjoyed playing until it started to sprinkle.

Another beautiful picture of the castle.

Robert loves taking fun pictures like this:)

Ummm..and yes...I forgot to mention another talent that Mark has discovered--rolling up his eyes super freakishly.

Have a great day!
Lyana.
