The symbol of Paris is still magnetic as ever. Hundreds of people flock to it, any time of the day and evening. And it is indeed a beautiful sight. We did think it was a bit smaller than we remembered from last time, but maybe it’s because everything is dwarfed in our minds after seeing Tokyo Tree. Eiffel tower is 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall.
This post is picture-intense since that’s all we did for half an hour—take all sorts of pictures.
Mama and I in Paris!
I think Mark is trying to mimic a pyramid here.
Someday, Katya, you’ll fully realize how cool it was that you went to Paris for Thanksgiving.
Minutes after we arrived, the tower got lit up. It was fun!
Can’t really see the tower, but you know it’s THE tower.
Oh no, not again
. We found another perfect jumping location.
And guess who got convinced to give it a try in jumping? Mama!
Happy to report that no one broke their foot at this jumping photo shoot.
And just a cool picture from right under the Eiffel Tower.
As we walked towards Trocadero, we kept looking back at the tower beautifully lit up. The sky colors added to the experience.
Although we did not go up to the top of the Eiffel Tower this time, we still didn’t feel like we missed out.
Love this view.
And that was the finish of our first day of sightseeing in Paris.
To be continued…again.
Lyana.
