Thanksgiving In Paris-In Love.

If you walk to the back of Notre Dame, through the small garden and to the river, you’ll find a small bridge loaded with locks. Pont de l'Archevêché (Archbishop's Bridge) is the name of this bridge. I know many cities have special places like this where you can hang a lock with special words in it. We have always just passed them, read a few signs and thought it was cute and cheesy.
This time, I was prepared. I went to the BX weeks before our trip, bought a simple lock, cut off the packaging (so it was not a bother when we were in Paris), and even packed a Sharpie marker. I was going to surprise Robert with a lock to hang Pont de l'Archevêché. And my surprise worked! We got to the bridge, I pulled out the lock, and Robert couldn’t believe I thought of all the details to make this a romantic detail in our trip-haha.
I told him he was in charge of writing on it though. So this is what he wrote.

We hung it in the middle of another thousand of locks and told the kids to remember where we left it so that they can come back someday and find it.

Besides the fact that it was quite a romantic thing to do, the lock thing was also a very entertaining thing for kids to see. They loved that we actually left something in Paris on the bridge-haha.

And here is a picture of the beautiful back of the Notre Dame to remind of the view from the lock bridge.
