Cornwall Weekend: Hayle Beach Low Tide

After dinner on Saturday, we decided to go check out the beach that was right below the caravan park. And by below, I really mean BELOW.  In order for us to get down to the beach, we had to walk maybe 50 meters down the sandy path and then slide/walk/stumble down the dune side. Fun right?

When we reached the place where we could see the beach, we were astonished to see how wide the sandy strip was due to low tide.
Alex immediately found another “creek”, of course.

Robert came up with an idea of drawing a maze, which turned out pretty awesome and entertaining.

We drew some other weird pictures that we thought would look cool from the top of the dune later, such as this.

And Mark made his little volcano in hopes to see it from above.

Katya and I headed home before the boys did and we took pictures from the top of the dune (once I made it up the sandy steep hill-haha).
Hmmmm…what does that say? I see a big heart. And a stick man that was not done by us.

Still cannot tell.

And now? Any guesses?
It’s amazing how big those letters seemed to us down on the beach and how tiny they came out in reality.

Katya was much better at sand drawing. See those huge letters that say KАТЯ and Cornwall? That’s her doing.

I think it’s so cute that she wants to always sign her name with that proper Ukrainian “Я” at the end.

Well, that was the end of our second day in Cornwall. Full day—lots of beaches, another trip to the swimming pool and restaurant food for dinner.
All right, I’ve got one more day to tell you about, but that will have to wait till tomorrow.
Bye for now.
Lyana.
P.S. It says I Red heartMontana.
