We have discovered that all the bare fields that surround our rural roads on the way to base are actually rapeseed fields. One week, we just saw these bright yellow outbursts of flowers everywhere! It turns out that East Anglia has a ton of rapeseed fields. So one “stay-at-home Saturday”, we just drove over to the nearby village of Wistow and let the kids explore following the path of the tractors.
And sometimes not following any tracks…in the middle of the field.
Rain clouds were rapidly moving towards us, which made the scenery more striking.
Alex-Zeus.
I love anything Blue and Yellow because it reminds me of Ukraine. Every time we are driving around and I see those colors I try to take a picture. Next year, maybe we should try to take our family picture in the fields with the blossoms in the background.
