One morning after Katya and Alex left for school and the weather was wet and gloomy, Mark and I decided to stay home and just hang out. Mark was very excited.
One of the first things he did was ask to put on his tiger costume. We got this costume from my cousin from Ukraine, so it’s very unique and Mark loves it!
Mark also loves to hang out on my bed. He always wants to be on the same floor as I am, so he plays quite frequently on my bed, sometimes doing puzzles and sometimes just jumping around.
Do you see that lamp in the top left corner? We’ve had it for ten years and finally are going to give it to someone when our stuff is packed up. We cannot bring some of our lamps to England, so this is a good opportunity to buy something new, right?:)
Here is my happy tiger!
And here is to capture some of the many moments when I feel like I am doing something that my kids really love to do but I could do without. Play-doh! So fun and so messy!!
Mark loves to do “dentist-playdoh” that Robert received as a Christmas gift one year. He also just loves squishing playdoh through the holes so that his “dudes” grow hair.
“He-he-he”.
Markovka, you are growing up so fast! Almost three and a half years old!
Mark loves the fact that he is the youngest and that he gets to spend so much quality time with me these days. And I love those times when I just close my eyes at the mess that comes with creativity (like tiny pieces of playdoh stuck to the floor), give myself a comforting pat on the shoulder and watch my kids enjoy their childhood.
I love the tiger costume! Rebekah has put on a dress up maybe once in her life. I wish she would.
