He had his regular winter hat under this fun dress-up hat. (I was trying to not embarrass him by asking him to show off his lunch box instead of focusing on his hat). That was also the day the kids were allowed to wear pajamas and slippers. And the funny thing is he came home also wearing the hat (I guess no one questioned his choice of headwear at school:)).
