Disney 2024: Magic Kingdom (Day 3)

There is no true magic in Disney World without going to the Magic Kingdom! 

We were up bright and early again as we were able to access the park a little early. First stop is, of course, Space Mountain! It's also one of my favorites for sure. 

The Thunder Mountain in the background. Iconic to say the least. Exhilarating-of course, but a bit overrated and overcrowded. 

One of the few pictures of all of us together taken by a stranger. I know it's a magical place but I am still hesitant to ask people to take our picture, at least in this country. 

I call this a real action shot.

Trying to recreate them, except we don't have Alex and have Mark instead.

As part of our military photo package, we were able to have a professional photographer take a few pictures throughout the park. This is Main Street USA. 

 

The weather was a bit iffy, so we signed up to go see Mickey at the Theater. 

It was so funny to meet him! We didn't really know how to act! 

We all (except Katya) were so awkward! 

hahahahaha

It gets better-hahaha. 

It was fun to be a kid for a moment!

I seriously was flabbergasted! 

We perfectly timed our visit to Mickey with watching the parade on Main Street. The highlight of this even was when Flynn Rider was waving to the crowd and Katya jumped up from where she was sitting, and enthusiastically waved at him too! He noticed and literally looked at her and waved back!! It was SO funny!

We made it to the Dole Whip place just in time before the rains came. 

I am pretty sure the thunder and lightning were all around us as we took these pictures in front of the castle. 

Katya just knows how to pose! 

Oh look, we were brave enough to ask another stranger to take a picture of us. 

These turned out pretty amazing, I think. 

Handsome dude! But I am not allowed to say that to him "because you are my mom". 

We had some pretty awkward poses over here... hahaha....like old fashioned Prom date pictures. 

Jungle Cruise was on delayed because of the lightning, so we had to wait a bit. 

And then we went to our only "reserve ahead" restaurant, for the second time actually. Good food, although expensive, but nice to feel a bit special here. 

When it gets dark, everyone relaxes, the day is almost over, we look back at how much we've already accomplished and thus everything seems funnier.

We take our jobs seriously. 

And this was super fun! 

Somehow it's not so scary for Mark or something. 

Robert is always thrilled-ahaha.

Like I said...it was a lot of Space Mounting.

Again, let's put mama in the back with some strangers. 

On the way out of the park, a photographer offered to take a few pictures of us. 

Guess who enjoyed taking them the most!!

It was so funny to watch him pose in front of the castle! 

And the photographer had some fun as well. 

It's always so great to finish a fun filled day and know that you lived it to the fullest! This is how we felt after the whole day at Magic Kingdom! Our dreams had been fulfilled!
