After our exploring of Canyonlands, we got home, had a quick dinner and got ready for the next adventure--a UTV tour.
This was totally Robert's idea and he did all the legwork involved in finding the tour and reserving it.
It was a sunset tour, over crazy terrain, that lasted a couple of hours. Once we got checked in, got fitted for helmets and had a lesson on how to drive the UTV, we had to drive a few miles on a regular road to where the tour was actually happening.
It was absolutely freezing and windy and LOUD! All the time! I was glad we had hats and gloves and coats! Not a flattering look but it helped to have hats underneath.
This was kind of where we were riding the UTV, not a great picture, but to be fair, I was afraid to get my phone out and drop it. Lots and lots of crazy roads, steep hill and impossible passages.
Finally, the sunset.
Once the sun went down, it got even colder!!!
We had some crazy hills to go up and down on. So scary!!!
You can see, towards the end we were pretty COLD and ready to be done.
Mark is the star of this picture.
So, in short, it was a good adrenaline filled adventure, I just wish it were not as cold! The boys loved it though, so it was worth it.
Moving on....The following day, we continued our drive around Southern Utah. We were driving towards Capitol Reef but made a short detour to one of the most recommended places--the GOBLIN VALLEY.
These were the craziest earth formations I have every seen.
We could get lost here for hours...so much space to explore!
I can also imagine how insanely hot this place can feel during summer months, so that's when I feel grateful we were there in April.
Look at these crazy things!
And this crazy man! I wasn't there when he took this picture doing yoga or something.
Traditional family selfie in another amazing place.
This is to document that my kids love and care about me and are willing to walk with me SLOWLY and also talk along the way.
Lyana.
