Oh how fun it is to be sixteen!!! This is the first year that Katya was “eligible” to go to a school dance with a proper date. It’s always exciting to anticipate who will ask you, right? Well, Katya got asked by three guys... and what an ordeal that was 😆😆😆😉 (but that’s a story for another time).
I have to say this sweet girl is amazing for staying strong and close to her values.

And here are Seth and Katya! Seth is Katya’s good friend from Pittsboro. He is a great young man and an amazing musician (super smart too)--we can’t wait to see what he does in the future!
I was the designated photographer, so we had to rush to catch the last light at the nature park.
This was their little group. Katya didn’t really know anyone but Seth, but Seth is friends with the boy.
Homecoming recap: They went to an Italian place in Pittsboro, then to the dance at Northwood High. But not for long because it was kind of weird. Then to someone’s house to watch a movie and play games. The end. Katya had a blast:)
