                       The last day of the first year of middle school... A day I will never forget.

                          Now, the reason I am not smiling with teeth in this picture is quite simple; I have                                   braces, and I do not like smiling with braces :)

Reflection Time / Circle Time

Children, children, gather round. We are now going to look back on the school year of a young child. Hmmmm, let's see. Nope, not Frank. Definitely not Bobby- he picks his nose! How about, ah yes, Katya. Katya, tell us what you liked most about 6th grade. "I would say that my favorite part about sixth grade was the lockers. Even though they were quite small, it was nice to know that I had my own personal space in the midst of a new school. I also liked drama club, and the play, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, that the Alconbury Players put on this year. I enjoyed drama club because I loved expressing myself in a way that I enjoyed and didn't have to worry about making people upset or mad." What is your favorite subject in school? "Definitely P.E. . It is my favorite because it is my best class and I look forward to it every year. Unfortunately I only had it for a semester, and even then, it was every other day. " Thank you Katya.
