We’ve got big news around here. On March 13th, Katya got her braces! We knew she was going to need them eventually, but I didn’t think it would be THIS early. All her adult teeth are in, except one canine that has no room. So braces will make room for her right canine (and hopefully will erupt on its own, if not, she might require a surgery), and straighten her front teeth that overlap a bit.
She’s been wearing them for over two weeks now…maybe a hundred more to go, depending on how fast those teeth move. Katya has not been complaining much about being uncomfortable, but we’ll see what happens after the next appointment when her braces get tightened again.
To answer your possible question whether or not Dr. Watson did these braces, I have to tell you that nope, we went to RAF Lakenheath to get them done since they have an orthodontist there. An hour drive is a hassle, but it’s best to have a specialist do that (and Robert doesn’t mind).
All in all, she LOVES them
