Really quick, I’ll give you a summary of our itinerary for the week. I am sure many of you already know where Croatia is located, but even I still struggle to point on the map all the smaller republics that appeared after Yugoslavia fell apart in the 90s. We started here
Croatia is that skinny country with a very long coastline. Dubrovnik is marked with an “A”.
So we flew London Heathrow-Zagreb-Dubrovnik on the way there (with Croatian Airlines). Flight to Zagreb was only two hours. We stayed in Dubrovnik for three nights, so we got two full days out of the city.
Then we drove to point “B” to Trogir. Spend one night there, and headed to Krka National Park (point “C”) the next day. In the afternoon we made it to Zadar, spent a night there. And the next day we drove to Plitvice Lakes where we stayed for two nights and spent one whole day at the lakes and waterfalls. On our last day, we drove to Zagreb, dropped off our rental car and flew back home. We were pressed for time, thus had to skip sightseeing there.

Sorry to overwhelm you with mapsSmile
All right, I need to get my act together and get  a few more other posts written from Croatia. Maybe tomorrow will be the day, as I have a maintenance guy coming to check our water heating system so I actually must stay home.
Good night for now.
Lyana.
