It is still hot...that's why I am not blogging much:)

We are told that this summer in Misaws has been unusually hot. Last year people felt as if they never even got a chance to feel a hot summer day, good enough to go to a beach. Not this year.

I laughed at myself. Last August when we arrived and I took one look at our base beach (which is Lake Ogawaro beach) and then at Miss Veedol beach in town (with the breakers to slow down the waves creating a swimming area) and said that I would never swim in that water (with disgust). Well, a year later, I couldn't care less how dirty or cold that water was! It was water! And kids loved it!



You might ask, why not go to a pool? The problem is that our base pool is open for swimming only from 1 pm till 3 pm (extended hours 12-3), which is exactly when Mark naps. The pool off base is great! BUT babies who are still in diapers are not allowed at the pool. So I cannot ever take all of my kids there during the day. Bummer.

Well, that's all for now, friends. I am melting. And it is already September here!!!
